We specialise in hog roasts and cater for weddings and parties of any size.
We use only top-quality, locally reared, fully traceable meats, butchered the traditional way.
All our hogs are free-range and are professionally carved by qualified butchers who have years of experience.
All salads and desserts are made by our executive chef with locally sourced produce.
Dave has had over 30 years experience in the butcher's trade and has won over 250 awards for excellence.
He began hog-roasting over 30 years ago and now also designs his own machines.
With these skills you can be absolutely sure that the hog will be prepared, cooked and carved to perfection.
Hog Roast Perfection Packages
Below are the details and prices of the main hog roast packages we offer. All prices are based on a party of 100 guests with us managing all aspects of the preparation and serving of the food.
Bronze Package £575
• Local free range Devon hog, spit roasted to perfection, or a selection of Devon joints of meat
• An experienced chef/butcher to carve and serve at the time to suit you
• Our own gazebo and lights
Silver Package £750
• The entire Bronze package plus:
• 5" white or brown baps
• Homemade apple sauce and homemade stuffing
• Bio-degradable plates and bio-degradable cutlery
• An additional experienced member of staff to serve
Gold Package £1075
• The entire Bronze & Silver packages plus:
• A choice of our delicious homemade salads made using local Devon produce. For example:
• Green leaf salad that includes: Radicchio, Oak Leaf, Cos and Lolo Rosso, served with homemade honey and mustard dressing
• Local new potato and roasted red onions, bound with a creamy mustard mayonnaise
• Pasta and basil pesto salad
Platinum Package £1525
• This package really is the works! As well as having the entire Bronze, Silver & Gold packages it also includes:
• A selection of our homemade sweets made with local Devon produce. For example:
• Strawberries with Devon clotted cream and sugar
• Homemade orange-scented treacle tart with Devon pouring cream
Ready Roasted & Self Catering Packages
If you wish to serve the hog yourself, or even fancy having a go at roasting it, details of our ‘Ready Roasted’ and ‘Self Hire’ packages can be found on our website.
We can also cater for smaller or larger parties and corporate events from 25 to 3000. We offer a fully bespoke service to suit your requirements.
